Metrotech Calibration Services (PTY) Ltd. offers two options with regards to the provision of a proof loads when testing lifting machines, namely water bags or solid weights.
We utilize a 50-ton hydraulic tensile test rig which is for load testing associated lifting tackle or destruction tests.
Our load cells which ranges between 2-ton and 250-ton capacity are calibrated annually by an SANAS accredited metrology laboratory are utilized to preform the load testing of these lifting machines and lifting tackle.
We also preform annual , 6 monthly and 3 monthly inspection on all lifting tackle and lifting machines in accordance with national and international
legislation. Our own equipment therefor also conforms the these legislation's
